Details:
The candidate must have excellent is a natural problem solver, with strong SQL skills and excellent communication skills. He/She will be primarily be responsible for supporting a high availability environment maintaining required performance standards for frontend and backend systems and applications. The candidate will assist in migrating business logic from .net code to PL/SQL procedures. The candidate will also support performance tuning of various backend procedures and queries. As experience progresses, he/she will be responsible for production support issues and must be available on call in evenings and weekends.
Requirements:
- SQL (T-SQL, PL/SQL) – Minimum 3 years
- Unix Scripting Support – Minimum 3 years
- Strong Analytical Skills
- Must be comfortable working in live production databases with an emphasis on being aware of performance concerns
- Must be comfortable working with external clients.
Desired Experience:
Multi-platform User Administration – 3 year.
Windows OS administration and some DBA (Developer) experience Configuration Management Support.
