Our ideal candidate has a minimum of 3 years experience hardening operating environments NT and Solaris, installing and configuring checkpoint firewalls and is familiar with security policies.

Your education includes a degree in one of these disciplines – Computer Science, Math, Engineering or an equivalent field.

You possess excellent knowledge of the Internet network and how it relates to security in the software industry.

You are able to work independently when needed and have the ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers.

In this role, you will be interacting with Application Service Providers (ASP) to install and configure Checkpoint Firewalls, routers, intrusion detection processes, such as, Real Secure Intrusion.

You will occasionally train and assist less experienced team members. You will work with our internal security group to adhere to security policy standards.

Travel to major cites in North America, Europe, Asia and Australia will be required.

Requirements:

The successful candidate will play a major role in implementing security processes for all hosted customers on a Global basis, and will provide first level security related support to these customers as well as consult with customers who wish to leverage our ASP experience/expertise in their own datacenters.

The candidate will learn new, leading-edge technical skills in the wireless arena (WAP, SMS, Phone.com, etc.), as well, an opportunity to learn Common Object Request Broker (CORBA) and Inprise.

Excellent English verbal, written and presentation skills are required.
